Privacy Policy

The short version: CrackMac the app collects nothing. The website collects almost nothing. Paddle handles your payment and we see only what we need to send you your purchase.

Who is responsible

The data controller for anything described here is Crackmac LLC, Serbia, reachable at support@crackmac.lol.

The app

CrackMac runs entirely on your Mac. It has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, and it makes no network connections. Your calibration (where the dead zone is) and your settings are stored in the app's preferences on your own machine and never leave it.

CrackMac uses the macOS Accessibility permission to read the positions of windows and the titles of menus so it can keep them on the working part of your screen. That information is used in the moment and isn't recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

The website

The website is a static page. We don't set cookies, and we don't run analytics or advertising trackers.

Fonts. The page loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address as part of serving the font file. See Google's privacy policy.
Hosting. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to identify you.

Buying

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy, checkout is provided by Paddle. Paddle collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details and processes them under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see your card details.

Paddle passes us your email address and order details so we can deliver your download and licence, answer support questions and process refunds. We keep those records as long as needed for tax and accounting law, then delete them.

Support email

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you and refer back to it if you write again. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Email support@crackmac.lol and we'll respond. For data Paddle holds as Merchant of Record, Paddle's own process applies.

Children

CrackMac isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
